Learn / examples
Load a complete starting case, calculate it, then change one assumption at a time. The examples are editable and are not design recommendations.
Examples are editable. The severe-winter example uses explicit screening assumptions and does not replace the project BoD, EPW/TMY, hydrogeology or utility agreement.

Envelope decomposition
| Opaque envelope | — | W/K |
| Windows | — | W/K |
| Effective infiltration / ventilation prior | — | W/K |
| Wall / window / roof / floor area | — | m² |
| U wall / window / roof / floor | — | W/(m²·K) |
| Lighting / equipment prior | — | W/m² |
The preset outdoor-air requirement is reported separately from the envelope estimator's effective ACH term; the two are not added here, avoiding an implicit double count. Cooling load is not yet exposed in this slice.
Annual building dynamics (2R2C)
Roa is derived from the screening heat-loss coefficient H. Ram and the two effective capacitances are explicit project inputs. No construction-derived value is inserted by this prototype.

First bounded candidate search
Lifecycle economics
These values are used in annual energy cost and net-present-cost ranking; they are saved with the project and printed in the Basis of Design report.
Expert family priors / site sources
Terminal priors are editable screening assumptions. Ground/source-water families are suppressed unless complete explicit source records are supplied. Borefield geometry/search choices and Rb, water-temperature profile and HX geometry are never inferred.
Specify exactly one source-water temperature input: hourly series, project profile reference, or monthly fallback. Hourly length must exactly match the 8760/8784 project calendar.
No physical threshold is inferred unless an explicit bracket is supplied. Each trial reruns both candidates annually and re-screens source physical feasibility.

Near-optimal / robustness
Run the candidate comparison to evaluate the near-optimal set against the kernel sensitivity scenarios. Scenario weights are engineering weights, not probabilities.

Physical-source thresholds
Not requested. Supply an explicit bracket in Candidate search assumptions.

Healthcare / residential program
Shown only for use types that require an explicit room or dwelling program. Rates and provenance are project inputs; no jurisdictional ventilation values are supplied by this editor.
